Raiper34
PhoneGap does not do native aps .... and it is pretty slow on older adnroid devices...
remvst
Well, porting HTML5 apps to native apps is basically the same as making a native app with only a WebView, which PhoneGap does.
Ezelia
PhoneGap does not do native aps .... and it is pretty slow on older adnroid devices...The post title is about "HTML5 wrappers", and PhoneGap IS an HTML5 Wrapper if you are asking about HTML5 to native bytecode compiler, then there is a few frameworks to do it (like gameclosure) but you can't port any HTML5 code to native without modification, and you have to use the framework API. Raiper34
Sure but native apps are much faster... And yes i tried... but this is problem of cocoonjs and construct 2 ....
latch
If I understand correctly, you are asking if there is a Construct 2 to Android native converter? Not that I know of. Or just a full screen container? Yes I wrote one that works. This app loads a Construct 2 320x480 game with enough space for an ad!https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=roc.dod I don't think the webkit browser is fully up to snuff yet as I get no audio.. Ydt
What do you mean CocoonJS doesn't support fullscreen apps exported from Construct 2? I haven't had any problems with that.. It was to my understanding that using the full screen options in CocoonJS will override whatever option you chose in construct 2.
Raiper34
I mean, that letterbox scale still does not work.... and other as scale outer and inner are useless for my games...
