kronberg
Hello all I have a problem that I'm not able to wrap my head around. I have just started developing a small RPG game, Im using Tiled for the maps and ARCADE physics. When the character starts moving and the camera starts following the player flickering starts and also a strangecolor saturation appears the code and error example can be found on the following Linkhttp://www.crownmountain.se/alvinGore after some more checking it seems to only be on the X-axis the problem occur I have no idea why, thanks for all helpPatric Edited November 7, 2014 by kronberg
wayfinder
That is a function of the way your flatscreen monitor displays color. You would not see the effect on a CRT. Edit: easily proved by manually moving the browser window around
kronberg
hmm, thanks for the answer. is there anyway of compensating for this? I mean there is alot of this kind of RPG's out there that don't have this. thanks, patric
wayfinder
I think it's just a matter of updating your graphics to something with fewer fine high contrast details (ie no single pixel wide super green grass blades on black)
kronberg
Yes, you are correct. I changed the graphics and the flickering and saturation change disappeared. thanks for the help, patric
