  1. Hi! I'm a developer from Argentina and I just released a visual novel engine based on Phaser and inspired by Ren'Py, called RenJS. The stories are written in yaml on a list of actions, and then interpreted and executed with Javascript and Phaser. It's easy to use by non programmers and it's super easy to extend and modify for anyone that knows a bit of phaser. I invite you to check the tutorial game I made with the engine itself in https://lunafromthemoon.itch.io/renjs, you can also get the code from https://gitlab.com/lunafromthemoon/RenJSTutorial, download it, play it locally and grab the files to make your own visual novels. There's no official documentation of it yet, but I'm working on it. I hope to get some feedback from you all, thank you!
  2. What’s Grimm & Tonic This is a weekly web visual novel, that follows the residents of the fictional city of New Eden. New scenes released every Friday. Check it out here What’s “Last Call" In this VN, you wake up one evening to find Death sitting on your sofa. Broke, friendless and apparently soul-less, He offers you a temporary job at the premiere, local, shady hole-in-the-wall, DEAD-END. Maintaining a healthy Work-Life balance is pretty tricky on a good day but it’s damn near impossible when your boss threatens foreclosure on your mortal existence. As the new bartender at DEAD-END, you’ll make new friends, mix weird drinks, all while navigating Life, Death and everything in between. What are the Themes? The game will focus on the following themes: Wishing vs. Desire vs. Action Locus of Control Coping Mechanisms Personal Growth You can expect the game to touch on topics such as suicide, alcohol abuse and depression. This title is going to be focused towards an audience aged 16 and up. There will be references to alcohol and adult situations. However, there will be no explicit nudity Open to Feedback? Yep. Looking forward to any comments anyone may have: Pacing. Ideas/Suggestions. Both Positive and Negative criticisms.

  4. Hello everyone, I present you my new visual novel, Spiked Heart. Spike is just a cat like any other, until the local fairy came to visit and told him to find his true love, or else. Is it just a coincidence that the fairy looks exactly like Cereza? Can Spike find his true love? Why does the game look so shitty? Many questions in this life have no answer. The game was developed with RenJS, a Visual Novel library for Phaser, also developed by me! Thanks for playing! https://lunafromthemoon.itch.io/spiked-heart-demo
  5. I am Yann, CMO of Eroges.com (NSFW), We are only 3 months old but we are alreay the leader in France with more than 4M users per month : https://www.similarweb.com/fr/website/eroges.com No surprise, we have the largest French network of manga and hentai websites, as soon as we opened our gaming platform, all our users rushed into it. For now but it could change later, we are looking for studios that already have free-to-play games developed with integrated purchases. If your game is mainstream, we can do a reskin with hentai illustrators. if your game is english only, we can translate in French. We have few games currently, so joining us quickly will be a guarantee of visibility and income. We don't ask for exclusivity except obviously if you ask us to translate your game in French, at that moment we will only ask exclusivity on the territory France and the French-speaking countries, but you will be free to exploit your games everywhere else. You can send me your offer to [email protected] Thanks !
  6. Hello folks, I'm creating a visual novel and i'm struggling a bit into creating a great concept to how to manage the story, branches, actions, events and etc. My first option was to create a JSON file, which works fine for the demo i'm making that is a linear story, but for the full game i'm yet experimenting how to do it better. The game will be online, and the player will have random encounters and how most visual novel works, a kind of affinity bar will help the player get the backstory from the npc's I don't know if i store all the script in a JSON file, or if i make a JSON file for each 'part' of the story like a JSON for npc1, JSON for npc2, JSON for general story, or if i make it all linked to the database. If any of you already did something like this or have some idea, i would appreciate if you can share it with me!
  7. Play online now no-one has to die. is a game about decisions. You will choose who lives and who dies, and your choices will change the events of the game completely. A fire has trapped four people in the Fenix Corp. headquarters, a building full of secrets. You arrive in the building to find the security guards murdered. Now it’s up to you help everyone escape. If only it were so easy. People will die, and it will be your fault. How you choose to contain the fire will lead to people burning to death. So, who lives? It’s your choice. Lionel is the CEO of Fenix Corporation. Arrogant and selfish, he only cares about his own chances of survival. But he’s the only one that knows what Fenix Corporation truly does... Christina is a young woman who has been working at Fenix Corporation for a few years. She is strong in the face of danger, but can’t stand to think of the lives the fire has consumed. If Steve hadn’t been working overtime when the fire began, he could have avoided the whole thing. Always one for a joke, he and Christina don’t always get along, but deep down they care about each other. And then there’s Troy. A murderer and an arsonist, Troy is behind everything that is happening in the Fenix Corporation. What sick game is he playing? So, who will you save? Who will die? Their lives are in your hands.
