I need to make a water ripple effect in Phaser with Phaser animation. Yes I will create spritesheet but how to achieve it without doing too much? I can draw with Inkscape? Is there some filter or tool I can use to draw this in inkscape? Or should I just redraw thin ellipses on update event?

Hi, I am a newbie javascript programmer and I am looking to create a wave effect, gentle rocking effect on canvas . I dont want a wave of a line but of a width of water. Also want that any object placed should also wave with the water. I tried the effect on http://jsfiddle.net/esteewhy/5Ht3b/6/. but its too random for my purpose. Besides it has raindrop effect. I just want ripple effect in a line effect. I hope I am making sense :-( Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Kartika
