Hi everyone! My name is Adrián and I represent Legends of Learning. Through an innovative marketplace of educational games, we teach math and science to nearly 10 million students in over 30,000 schools (and growing fast). We are looking to work with passionate game developers interested in revenue share to build FUN games that also happen to teach. Games on our platform usually consist of 10-15 minutes of gameplay to teach a specific academic topic, and developers have complete creative freedom (really!) in how that topic is taught. The longer your game stays on the platform, the more you will earn. Some devs have multiple games on the platform, so their total earnings can be much higher. Just last year, we distributed $1 million dollars to game developers. You also retain game IP and can reuse existing assets from your previously made games, provided that it makes sense in the context of an educational game for kids. Forget about dealing with marketing and focus completely on game development! Whether you are an independent developer or part of a 100-person studio, we want to work with you. Unlike other platforms where only a few lucky studios strike gold in a "winner take all" marketplace, Legend's innovative model provides significant and growing payouts to the MEDIAN developer, with great payouts for top developers. Does building games that matter sound interesting to you? Visit Legends of Learning Game Dev – Be Part of the Revolution and sign up!

We are looking for a remote animator for our mobile game design team. This is a paid position in a professional and established work environment. Our design team has produced animations for some of the world's leading brands for over a decade. We are looking for an expert in Spine animation software. This position will begin with a few hours per week, but the right candidate will move to full time very quickly if not immediately. We need you available and online in our team backend between 9AM and 4PM EST (US) timezone. The position requires strong experience in mobile game art such as animation and typical 2d art workflow as you will be working with an design and development team coordinators with each project. Strong experience in Spine is mandatory, so speed and familiarity with the software is essential. This is a faced paced environment. The right candidate will be comfortable in this environment. The right candidate will have the potential to remain with us as a career, as many already have. Ideally we are looking for an animator who is comfortable creating animations for humanoid, non-humanoid, and VFX style animations. Our animations needs will vary from project to project on a daily basis. Our design team will prepare static assets and animation requests, and they will be handed to you for fast turnaround animations. Generally you will be working on several different projects concurrently, so being able to shift at a moment's notice from one project to another is essential. This is a high volume, fast paced position. Being able to envision the animation we are producing for a game is also essential. While our design team will provide you with a basic understanding of the animation such as "enemyHitFire: played when the enemy combatant is hit with a fire effect ranged spell", we expect the animator to be able to envision what they also can add to the animation to bring it to life. Creativity and added touches are a strong motivation factor for hire. Finally, because we often find ourselves creating full mini-games from concept sketches and discussions, we are in constant contact with the artist to explain the project when it begins and perform revision work. You must be able to understand English and communicate quickly without difficulty. Below are some of the things we will be wondering about (NOTE, we have training available for some areas such as 2D animation prep): 1.) How comfortable are you with Spine? 2.) How familiar are you with Photoshop techniques and environment? Can you adjust sprite delivery quickly to fit animation needs? 3.) Are you comfortable and experienced with game art, sprite sheets, and overall production flow? 4.) Are you imaginative or prefer working with very strict references and detailed animation descriptions? 5.) Can you animate without the use of IK and Mesh in your animations? If you are interested in the position, please email "careers" at "grimpanda.com" with your hourly salary requirements, portfolio links or examples of work, and best method of chat (Skype etc). Candidates who meet our requirements will be contacted via chat (text only, no worries about Covid hair!) to further discuss the position. These positions will be filled very quickly! Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, I'm a new user and I do not know the rules of this forum. However, let you understand, I first define the context. I'm developing a peer-to-peer game, using the "simple-peer" API, all based on the opponent's position (x, y). My only issue concerns updating the remote sprite video so that I can update it using only using the moveToXY () function and if the tween do not work. Positions are captured with the peer's "data" listener, saving them to an array position: peer.on ('data', function (data) { positions = data.split("-"); console.log (positions[0] + "-" + positions[1]); } In the update function I would instead use this feature: this.tween = this.add.tween (opp) .to ({x: positions[0], y: positions[1]}, 1,Phaser.Easing.Linear.None, true); but unfortunately it does not work. I tried to test the tween replacing positions at player.x and player.y, but it works. How can I do? I am desperate.

UPDATE: Positions are still available as we continue to grow. This post will update when we are no longer accepting applications! Our team is looking for experienced HTML5 developers who are able to join our team immediately as remote freelancers. Duties will range from creating mini games, to full HTML5 games (using Phaser) in addition to simpler conversions. With this in mind, we need a developer who is dedicated, hard working, extremely knowledgeable and who takes pride in his or her product. The position will start with a few simple minigame projects, and has plenty of room to grow for the right candidate into more work, including full html5 games, conversions and more. Payment is based on hourly work, with payment delivered each week. Strong English speaking and communication is mandatory! You may be asked to work in some, or all of the following areas. Please note that you do not have to have experience in all of the areas, and that is ok! Flash: The native files and file assets you may be converting are in .fla format. Slack: With all projects, we do require a very open communication dialogue. We use Slack for our team conversations. HTML5: You will be converting and/or creating HTML5 games for mobile, tablet, and all platforms. Git Repository: Experience with GIT is a plus, but can train for this. Phaser: Phaser knowledge is a must! You should demonstrate a mastery with all of it’s features, and have titles in your portfolio using the framework. Additional Skills: Experience in other languages, libraries and tools will be useful, so please include any additional skills you may have in your initial contact with us.Our projects all require precise skills, a quick turnaround time, and an extremely high quality product. We concentrate on polish such as tweens, particles and little details that give life to each game. Having an eye for game design and well polished end results are critical! The three biggest things we look for are excellent communication skills, the ability to not only develop exactly what is given to you, but also contribute new ideas and creative thinking, and finally timeliness. You must be available between 11am to 8pm EST Monday through Friday. Our workload is heavy, so being available during these hours are critical! Please submit your portfolio and hourly wage requirements to jobs @ grimpanda.com, thanks!

Hi there, My name is Dan and I work for Gamevy. I've posted looking for a team on here before and I had a fantastic response. We're going to be starting work with one of the companies that responded next week. I'm hoping that this forum will turn up with the goods again! Gamevy is just over 2 years old. We're working to bring television gameshows online. In the two years that we've been running we've won awards for being the best startup in competitions, and recently the largest independent lottery operator in Europe invested in us. We're now looking to extend our product offering. We've got our eye on how we could bring the fun that we've started to add to other games to the slots games that are out there. We've come up with what we think are some good ideas and we now want to find a team to help us deliver those. Because of the nature of the slots market, we really want to find a team that has previous experience in the space. In addition, we're want that team to be in Europe - we're happy for people to work remotely but we believe that the best way to get a project off the ground is to talk in person. We're also looking to build a lasting relationship with the team that we eventually end up working with and so it's important to us to be able to spend time building that relationship, something that again we think happens best in person. We know that we want to deliver the games using HTML. Our current games use pixi.js so if you've experience in that it would be a bonus. We'd provide all the backend work via an API. Where we'll really want to focus initially is on the design work and so you must have incredible creatives working for you - people that obsess about details! When we consider design, we're also talking about the user experience - the mechanics that a user will interact with - how the game plays out. This is the main driver behind wanting people with previous casino/slots experience there are some fantastic examples of slot games out there today, but we want to go better. We'll be wanting to take your guidance on what's essential and for you to help us build on top of the existing standard to create something amazing. Sound interesting? Then get in touch! You can find me on LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/danrough connect with me on there, I'd love to talk to you about the possibility of working together!

Hi everyone, I wanted to point everyone to two examples we just put online. They are part of the examples of a new free service named PlugPIN JS that we just launched. This service turns smartphones into remote controls for games, websites and apps. Here are the two links to the examples, both built with Threejs: 1. Simple Shooter http://surf.plugpin.com/apps/demo-walkthrough/ 2. Remote Controls with Gyro http://surf.plugpin.com/apps/demo-orientation/ The second example is fully documented under "onOrientationChange()" in the Docs. We hope you like it and that it sparks your creativity to make your games interactive by using your smartphone. If you have any questions concerning the examples or the JS Library, then please don't hesitate to contact us. We would love to hear what you think about it and how you would like to use it. Joost @ PlugPIN

Hi there, I work at Gamevy, a company that is bringing Television Gameshows to market. We're the recent winners of best startup at the ICE Conference (See here for announcement: https://www.gamcrowd.com/press/gamevy-claims-pitch-ice-crown-with-32-of-vote). Since winning the competition, we've seen significant interest in our products and we're looking to expand. We've got some ideas that we've worked up internally which we really want to progress, but with all the demand we're seeing elsewhere we don't have the capacity. I'd really like to speak with companies that have experience in delivering games, preferably in the real money space, who offer development services. I'm on LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/danrough please connect and message me there. Thanks, Dan.

Hi guys, Here is a web app developed in JavaScript, using Google Earth APIs and UniWand HTML5 SDK, that uses smartphone as an intuitive flight control. The demo video is hosted on this YouTube page. The web app is hosted as a sample in this UniWand framework page, from where you can install the Android app and try out the Google Earth sample. We'd like to know your opinion about the same. Hope you'd like it! Thanks!
