I want to design a multiplayer phaser game that has a lobby, you can review your information or talk with friends via chat while you are waiting until you are matched with another player (is a fight game, pokemon style).
-How do I get this? should I develop everything like a normal socket.io/chat project and then start the game when you find a match?
-Should I start the game instance since the beginning, and the lobby would be a state, the fight another state and then back to the lobby?
I'm very new to this but I'm excited to start developing, I'll appreciate any guidance, thanks
