Hi all! Today I want to share with you, fellow developers, my new HTML5 game, Forest Night Flight. Link: http://www.fedeali.eu/public/webgames/ForestNightFlight/ This is the first HTML5 game I made after few years of “break”. I switched engine, from GameMaker to Construct 3, and I have to say it revealed a good choice for this project. Forest Night Flight is an endless arcade game optimized for mobile browsers, supporting both Landscape and Portrait orientations. As a clumsy witch, fly on your broom for as long as you can, watching out for obstacles in the forest! Hold your finger on screen (or hold pressed left mouse button) to rise, and leave the finger (or release left mouse button) to fall down with gravity. For this game I worked on design and (visual) programming, while my friend and colleague Carlos worked on graphics. Music and SFX have been purchased from third parties. We would like to try selling either exclusive or non-exclusive license(s). What do you think of our game? Feedbacks, either positive or negative, are all welcome. Thank you in advance for trying our game! Link: http://www.fedeali.eu/public/webgames/ForestNightFlight/

I'm having a problem getting a game exported to iOS with Cordova to display correctly on iPhone X. The exported game always shows up like this with the game pushed off to the left of the screen. Screenshot This is a blank Construct 3 project, no code added, it displays correctly on all iOS devices except iPhone X, I have tried adding the correct size launchimages in xcode, tried using storyboards, made sure all the constraints are set up correctly, I have viewport-fit=cover set in the meta tag. Has anyone had any luck with Cordova projects on iPhone X yet? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Hey everyone! This is a video of a prototype for my first HTML5 game Bunny Hop made using Construct 3. I wanted to keep my first HTML5 game small and simple plus this is my first time really making a game in Construct 3. I don't think any sponsors/portals would be interested in this game for it being so small lol, but I like to start on small projects when I am testing out engines I am new to. Plus I still need to figure out how to host it onto a web server and all that. Here is the Link to a gameplay video!

Dash Rumble Click to play - v 0.2 Devlogs 1- Devlog #1: designing the game and the AI Pitch Dash Rumble is a platform/arcade action game in which you dash to death! Push your enemy outside of the arena’s boundaries to win. The project Dash Rumble is about building up a battle system mildly inspired by wrestling: the player’s main way to beat his opponent is to push him, rather than to damage him. It originally started out as a combat system in the vein of the old school Tales Of (that is to say, confrontations on a line), and evolved to become this very game project: a fast-paced fighting game based on well-known platform mechanisms. You can already try the first prototype by clicking the play button above! This thread will serve as a development log for the game. I will also be sharing tutorials and tips based on my experience with this project. How to play Arrow keys to moveSpace to dashUpcoming elements I'll be working on modifying the core game rules and the art next. Getting in touch If you like what I do, don't hesitate to message me on twitter @NathanLovatoArt Thanks for your time!

Hi all! I'm trying to hide address bar on iOS 6.1.5 in a Scirra Construct 2 project. I know this is a trivial task, and I managed to do it with GameMaker, but for some reason I can't make it work here. Here's what I'm doing: On start of layout: Browser: Execute Javascript if (!document.getElementById('space')) { var space = document.createElement('div'); space.style.height = '60px'; space.style.clear = 'both'; space.id = 'space'; document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0].appendChild(space);}Browser: Execute Javascript if (window.location.hash.indexOf('#') == -1) { setTimeout(function() { window.scrollTo(0, 1); }, 0);}When the page loads for the first time, it works perfectly. However, after the page has been refreshed, what happens is that the address bar still hides, but the canvas doesn't take all available space, but there is a blank space at the bottom of 60px (the height of the bar, and the height of the div I add to the page to increment space). What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance!

I'd like to know if someone knows how well each of them is working on mobiles. I have some experience using Construct 2 and I find it really, really nice for development. Until now, I was not very involved in using html5 on mobiles/tablets and recently I just made a few tests with Construct2 on a few devices. I found it quite slow for just moving a few sprites on the screen. I'm just curious if someone can tell if this should be the expected behavior on mobiles for html5 or just construct2 is a little bit slow? Did anyone test both Game Maker and Construct 2 to make a comparison from the performance point of view on mobiles?
