Hi All! Intro As a front-end developer it was a MUST to create an online HTML5 game for our wedding website I've recently discovered Phaser and I was amazed by the things you can achive with it. The Phaser community is just awesome, I've got a lot of help from forums, examples and tutorials I've found during the development. I would like to give something back to the community. That's one of the reasons I've published the source code of the game. The game Wedding Run is an endless 2D platform game. You can play either with the groom or with the bride. Hi everyone, We made a simple runner demo with Phaser that works as a base for all our future projects. We are using node modules to make our development easier. We don't have that platform to test so it is hard for us to know how to improve it. Can someone give us tips on how we can improve performance for this demo on that platform? Thanks!

Summer Love is small infinite horizontal runner made in Phaser. That weird name comes from fact it should promote some summer music festival with this name. Later in game there are spikes and if you pick heart, you can do additional in-air jump. Hero's animation was made with Spriter (tool for skeletal animations). Hello guys! I do want to promote my first game made with Phaser. It's a simple runner game and have been a really good learning experience. Its wrapped with Cordova and uses some Cordova plugins to give users access to connect with Facebook's Score-API and buying items with In App Purchase for instance. The game is about running on bridges with correct colors. The game is tricky because you need to focus about which color to run while at the same time aiming the player to pass the current bridge. The game speed will increase for every 10th bridge you make it through. Like I said this have been a very good experience but I have worked pretty hard to finally be able to release this dam* game so please don't tell me about any bugs you may find! (just kidding) But I will be really grateful for any feedback, also I want to say thanks to everyone in the active Slack-channel for being very helpful! Hi guys, After several months and tens of hours of work I released the v2 of my first game PAWs! Some of the new key features I’ve added: - Ten new cool characters that can be unlocked for FREE. Each character that you unlock comes with one or more extra lives. - I've replaced the numbers and signs with shapes for a better visibility and also because some people don't like numbers. - I’ve changed the rewards system to just hearts (that fill the health bar) and stars (which give x2 bonus for a limited time). I think it's less confusing this way. - I’ve replaced most of the sounds with cooler ones. - Full menu makeover. - Lots of optimizations. - Made game much more intuitive. Hi there! I have been making games for a while now but just recently started HTML5 in Game Maker Studio, and Flash is my first finished game Flash is a very simple highscore based Arcade game, where you have to manoever through obstacles and pick up dots to score, and you can buy themes with them in the store. Unfortunately the game doesn not always run smoothly (his is mostly because of it being hosted on dropbox), but I hope you can still enjoy it. Hi all, I'm interested in building a 2d shooter or runner game (think Gradius) where the levels are designed ahead of time. That is to say, the platforms and enemies would NOT be procedurally generated, but rather part of a scripted level. My plan was to give the player a positive x velocity, moving him/her to the right in a long world (currently 6000 pixels wide) and have the camera follow him/her, and literally have enemies and objects waiting at predefined positions. Basically I want to know, is this a reasonable way to build this type of game? I'm wondering how big can the world be (roughly) and how many objects can I pre-place off-screen before I start to run into performance trouble. If this is a concern, what strategies can I use to mitigate it? Off the top of my head I'm thinking I could pool objects or not render/run enemy routines until they are on-screen. I've searched the Community Tutorials and I've Googled around, but I haven't been able to find a tutorial for an endless runner like Jetpack Joyride. I've seen the "Spring Ninja" tutorial but I am looking for something more complex. Specifically, I want to answer: How do I continuously load predefined tilemaps and unload them once they are off screen?Should I make the player traverse through the tilemap or make the tilemap move. Thank you for reading and helping. =)

Hi, I'm trying to do an infinite runner with random islands. Island should be a tilemap generated dynamically. The character have to jump over and over island to survive. All exemples I saw with tilemap is a static map limited world. I want to use tilemap to skin it easily and access to which tile character collide (for special event). I tryed to put some velocity to tilemap/tilelayer or change to x/scrollx, like a kinectic body, but it fails. Sorry if my explanation isn't very good.. I made a draw to be more cleary : So is there a way to do something like this directly with Phaser ?

Hi guys, I've just released my first mobile game for Android and iOS, built with Phaser and wrapped by CocoonJS. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVxMIMB0mC4 PAWs! - Live to purr PAWs! is an infinite runner that will challenge your gaming skills to the max while improving your speed, focus and flexibility. It really requires a lot of attention because, while avoiding the obstacles, you need to tap the paw toes matching the current game type, shown at the top of the screen, in order to collect points. The way you score points changes every 20 seconds, so you need to constantly adapt to changes, pay attention to obstacles... so basically is a little nightmare for your senses. You can boost your score by collecting rewards (ex. the little yellow fish from the image below) by tapping catch. This will double the points you collect in the next 10 seconds.
