My passion is to put in collaborative work, my tech and design skills to give my best for the projects I work on be successful. Hello everybody! I would like to introduce my game 'The White Robot'. Actually it is standalone game for PC, but I decided to do demoversion for HTML5. You can find it here. So, it's a story about a white robot that destroys crowds of evil spirits. The evil spits, screams, rages, barks, strives to bite you and hurt you. All of them must be shot, guts and bloodshot gushes from them). Adventures occur against a background of different locations. This is the night forest in the moonlight, a storm in the desert, frost blizzards, musty marshes, burning forests, stuffy dungeons with flies and spiders, human cities that have fallen into decay and suffer from an excess of factory exhausts, and strange fire rive. The story began when my very old game got Greenlit 3 years after submission and I've decided to make a HQ remake. «Fly, Glowfly!» is an unusual logic game – a combination of the level editor, arcade game and labyrinth. Your goal is to help Glowfly to collect all bonuses on the level and reach the finish by placing different blocks on its way. In the beginning this game will resemble some puzzle, but next levels are almost hardcore - you need good reaction to win! Lots of different mechanisms, work of which is required for completing levels, makes the game addictive, different and sometimes even hardcore! Right now there are demos for Windows, Android and WebGL (the last one is not optimizet for mobiles yet!): WebGL Windows Android Video: Screens: Any feedback is highly apperciated P.S.: Although this is HTML5 games forum and I have HTML5 fully functional (beside some GFX) demo, for best experience check out Windows one.

Hi guys, first off I know I'm asking a lot here. I'm looking for a fellow developer interested in becoming the co-founder of a small indie studio in the UK. I'm a realist, the dream-bubble has burst and I know its going to be tough, but I still believe that by keeping our scope achievable and making smart decisions we can build a sustainable micro-studio, make some interesting games, and have fun along the way! Team Structure: The goal is to run the startup studio as a 2-person UK general partnership. Both of us would get stuck into development and running of the studio business, whilst commissioning freelancers to take on the tasks outside of our own creative strengths or time constraints. I've been a solo dev for just over a year now and this approach has given me the best results so far, but I'd like to take things a step further and work with a dedicated partner as well. I currently have one alpha build project and one pre-alpha project that I'd like to carry on developing as part of this venture. The Games: - Create original IP - Action / Story-driven / turn-based games - 2D or 2.5D graphics - Non retro pixel art - Use existing engines/tools (currently working in Construct 2) - Multi-Platform friendly technologies (eg. html5) Funding: Crowdfunding on a per-project basis, plus our own pockets as a backup/last resort. Any profit left (if any) after we've covered our expenses can be divided between the two of us, as per the terms of the agreement we come to. Our working agreement can be based on how many hours each of us can put in and which responsibilities we take on. Publishing: 3rd party publishers, or vendor sites. I'm a verified member of Nintendo's Wii U development program for indies, so we have this option too. Your skill set: - Background in a core development discipline (art / coding / level design etc) - Experience of a supporting discipline such as marketing or business is a massive bonus. - Willingness to take on a 50/50 share of non-development tasks such as social media, admin, video editing, website admin etc. - Insane amounts of tenacity and passion for games is a given. So my project has grown with a team now. So far we have two sfx/bgm guys and three, including myself, developers. We now need a 3d modeler/animator to really kick things off as well as a prefab designer. Below are what we need as far as the roles. 3D Artist, many slots opened You will need to be able to design 3d models, properly skin them, and animate them. The good thing is we need LOW RES models so things do not have to be perfect and you do not have to be a fabulous designer. We will turn the 3d assets into 2d sprite sheets similar to how the original Diablo and Fallout series. This is an example of what I am looking for while its a little over pixelated you get the idea. We need both characters as well as objects designed so even if you can not do character animations, we still need a lot of assets done which include: structures, furniture, in-game items, and more. Prefab Designer, 2 slots We need a couple people who are good at layout design. Someone who can design prefabricated structures and such that can be placed in the game as buildings and various points of interest. You will design these prefabs with randomization in mind whereas not everything is 100% static in mind. With the prefab, each place will have a layout with spawners that have a spawn chance to spawn an object from a group so each prefab should not be the same as another. You will be responsible for building the prefabs, as well as setting up the groups. We need some help. The game is still early development while there are a lot of factors for the game that is coming together to really push the game forward. We also do have a lot of the team collaboration already set up to work together. I also am not just the Project lead. I am the lead developer for this project. Reaper of Chests Three months ago we decided to write a game. The original idea was to make an irony on such RPG games where core gameplay becomes hunt-for-epic loot gameplay very fast, even if it was not developers goal. The core gameplay of our game is to hunt for epic loot and equip your hero to hunt even more epic stuff! The most precious moment for every RPG fan is the moment when you are about to open this awesome magic chest and to find out what kind of marvelous loot is waiting for you! We know it because we are part of those fans! For this reason you will be opening epic and only epic chests playing our game! Considering all of that we decided to give our game working title "Reaper of Chests". We start developing "Reaper of Chests" with single player prototype. But at one point after careful planning it was decided to move to client-server architecture. With this approach we can control the whole game process, share players achievements and world events. And now your character knows no rest in the pursuit of legendary loot day and night. For now we have a browser client version v0.7.1. You might wonder: "What the hell this version should mean to me?" - maybe nothing, but we pull through 7 elaborate iterations in 3 months not to mention minor versions. Moreover we have a server to never leave your character in peace! Undoubtedly we understand that 3 months of "secret-development" is quite a risky enterprise. Especially considering the fact that we don't get paid for what we're doing and we were developing it in our free time. But, yeah, we were carried away a bit designing prototype. We have plans for "Reaper of Chests", but at first we want to present it to the community and let it seal the "Reaper of Chests"`s fate. For this reason we have planned a closed test for limited expert audience. There are two possible results of closed test: 1. "Reaper of Chests" will be launched on low-power server. It will be fully functional, but it won't be able to handle many players. We will stop on the project if there won't be any public resonance in the community. 2. We will try to raise funds for further development. We will go on working on a project and we will be preparing a closed beta for wider audience. We fell in love with "Reaper of Chests" when we worked on it and we believe that second option is the only possible. But one should not forget about the risks. Mark Zuckerberg once said: "The biggest risk is not taking any risk..". Since we carry on "Reaper of Chests" using only our own funds and time, its fate depends heavily on the community. In our turn we will provide as much information on the game as needed and deliver the most interesting gameplay in order to win the vote of the community!
